2014 – Festival of St. Andrew and Installation of Office bearers
Brethren from within and out-with the province of Renfrewshire West met in the Masonic Hall, King Street, Port Glasgow, to celebrate the Festival of St. Andrew and the installation of RWM Bro. Clive Taulbut and his office bearers.
Deputations of visiting brethren from within and outwith the province were welcomed into the Lodge and were led by RWM Bro. William Lawson of Lodge Doric Kilwinning No. 68.
Thereafter a large and influential deputation from Provincial Grand Lodge was welcomed, led on this occasion by PGM Depute Bro. James P. Livingstone.
The Installing Masters, Bros. Robert Mcfarlane, Robert S. Stone and George Hamilton, all Past Masters of 217, were received into the Lodge where they took their respective offices to conduct the Installation Ceremony in a traditional manner.
Following the Ceremonial Bro. Clive Taulbut RWM and his office bearers, visiting Brethren and members of Provincial Grand Lodge retired to Harmony where the usual toasts were proposed and given suitable replies. After the formal toasts, the brethren continue in harmony.
